DW-A55E is a rutile flux cored wire that was specially formulated to meet rigorous demands for low temperature service steels. It is suitable for applications that require high levels of toughness in cold temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees celcius. The fast freezing slag promotoes easy and very productive positional welding with slag removing easily to reveal a smooth appearing weld bead. Used widely in the shipbuilding and bridge construction industries.
